  • NEW!  SALLY KALLIN, PINE ISLAND PRIMITIVES WILL BE TEACHING AT THE STUDIO 
    • Sally Kallin is the owner of Pine Island Primitives.  She has a BFA and was a graphic designer for 20 years before starting her rug hooking business in 2001.  She loves teaching across the country and at her farm in Pine Island, MN.  She uses many differnet textured wools in her rugs to give them an antique look.  Her subject matter is often animals from her farm or flowers and leaves.  Her work can be seen in Celebrations, as well as Rug Hooking Magazine and on her website at www.pineislandprimitives.com  She believes that classes should be fun as well as informative.  Students can work on whatever project they wish.  Her hope is for each student to go home with a rug they love.  There will be mini lessons each day with lots of tips and tricks for hooking, as well as a lecture on how to use color in your rugs.

    • Linda has Chartered a bus to go to Stitches West in Santa Clara, CA
    • There will be door prizes and a special project on the bus.  The bus will depart from Auburn with one stop in Sacramento.
